"The Roads Not Taken"
Robert Frost
The roads diverged in a yellow wood
Sorry I could not have traveled both
And be one traveler, long I stood
Looking down one as far as I could
To where it had bent in the undergrowth
I've taken the other, as just as fair,
Perhaps the other'a better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear
And, OH! That morning had equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden back
Oh, I marked that first for another day
I know now what leads on to way
My doubts that I should never come back
I tell my story with this'a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence
Two roads diverged in a wood an I,
I have taken the one more traveled
And; has this made all the difference
Title: The Road I Toke
Style of poem: Model Poem
Inspiration: I changed the original poem (the roads not taken by Robert Frost) and switched the perspective from someone having been different and appreciating that to one of someone who regrets "taking the road more traveled"
